Ongoing Situation

The GHF's future had been indefinite since Hamas and Israel agreed a ceasefire deal to carry out the primary segment of the American administration's peace initiative.

The arrangement specified aid distribution would take place "free from intervention from the two parties through the international bodies and their affiliates, and the Red Crescent, in conjunction with other worldwide bodies not linked whatsoever" with Palestinian factions and Israeli authorities.
